As an investor, you may only view deals associated with the email addresses that were invited. If you login and don’t see a deal once you’ve been invited to, you may have logged in to Capital with a different email address than the one that was invited.
To add a secondary email address to your account:
On iOS:
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap “Account Settings” and “Add New” under “Secondary Email”
On Web:
- Click the profile icon in the top left corner of your screen
- Click “Account Settings” and “Add New” under “Secondary Email”
You’ll then be able to see any deal invites you receive to either email.
Turn off Private Apple Relay to use your standard email address:
You may have chosen to login with a Private Apple Relay address. This also means that you’ll need to ask founders to send invites to your Private Apple Relay address. Capital does not know your regular email address, so we can’t match invites to that email address.
If you want founders to be able to invite you with your regular email address, you can re-link Sign in with Apple and share your standard email address. Here’s how:
On iOS:
- Go to Settings on your iOS device
- Tap the icon with your name and “Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases”
- Tap “Password & Security”
- Tap “Apps Using Apple ID”
- Tap “Capital”
- Tap “Stop Using Apple ID”
- Tap “Stop Using” to confirm
- Log into Capital again using your standard email address
On Web:
- Go to https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage
- Tap “Sign in with Apple”
- Tap “Capital”
- Tap “Stop using Sign in with Apple”
- Tap “Stop Using” to confirm
- Log into Capital again using your standard email address
